Servings: 30 | Yield: 5 dozen

These Peanut Butter Balls have always been a part of my family since I was a kid. My Grandma used to make them for us whenever we visited her and Grandpa. This is a very easy recipe that she taught me. I was about 8 years old the first time I made these delicious balls! Now, that I am an adult and have kids of my own, I make sure that my kids get to experience a bit of my childhood. Preparing these balls is a bonding moment for us. What they love the most is the part where we dip the balls into the melted chocolate. Oh man, I love watching their faces, full of joy and innocence. Anyway, make this your bonding moment as well. I am 100 per cent sure that you and your kids are going to have so much fun. Enjoy!

¼ cup butter

1 ½ cups peanut butter

4 cups confectioners’ sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon maple flavoured extract

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, add the peanut butter, butter, confectioners’ sugar, maple flavoring, and vanilla. Knead until well blended.

Step 2: Place a small pan on the stove and turn the heat to low.

Step 3: Add the chocolate chips and allow it to melt.

Step 4: Remove from the heat.

Step 5: Make 1-inch balls off the rolled dough.

Step 6: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate chips.

Step 7: Place the balls on a lined cookie sheet.

Step 8: Place inside the fridge to chill for 15 minutes to overnight.

Step 9: Serve and enjoy!
